THIS 50TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE OMEGA WAS AWARDED THE SNOBBY SILVER AWARD BY THE U.S. SPACE ADMINISTRATION'S ASTRONAUTS IN 1970, RECOGNIZING THE BRAND'S MANY CONTRIBUTIONS TO HUMAN SPACE EXPLORATION, INCLUDING MISSION NO.13. The 42mm stainless steel case is fitted with a blue nylon fibre strap, the band lining is embossed with the flight path of the sun god 13, the silver surface features a blue physico-aerated deposition angle hour and pointer, and the small blue dial in the 9 o'clock position is engraved with the Snoopy Silver Medal. The back of the watch uses NAIAD LOCK technology, and the sapphire crystal mirror carves the back of the moon with microstructural metal coating technology. Snoopy sits in the command service bay, like a “magic” pointer, and snobby runs around each time the timer is activated. In addition, there is a globe disc on the back, which runs for a week every minute in sync with the small seconds pin. Black lettering engraved on the back cover of the watch pays homage to Sun God 13 and Omega's “Snoopy Silver Award”. The white enamel speedometer scale is clearly visible on the blue ceramic [ZrO2] bezel. This unlimited edition watch is built into the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement 3861 with a signature dial box.
